Patricia L. Peden is a Shareholder in the San Francisco litigation office of LeClairRyan LLC.
Ms. Peden’s practice is focused on complex litigation, with an emphasis on patent infringement litigation. She has litigated large, complex cases with multi-million-dollar damages claims. Her cases have involved a wide range of technologies, including cellular telephony, biotechnology, automotive audio-visual systems, LED technology, semiconductor manufacturing, industrial equipment, and ecommerce software, to name a few. Ms. Peden also has substantial experience with cases involving business torts, trade secrets, antitrust, fraud, breach of contract, defamation and class action litigation. Ms. Peden has litigated and tried cases in federal courts across the country. She regularly lectures and teaches courses on evidence and trial advocacy.
Ms. Peden earned her J.D. from the University of California at Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law. She served as a law clerk to the Honorable Richard C. Tallman, United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and to the Honorable David Folsom, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
